Paint is a genuine passion for our team at Wynn Fraser. And so is making the world a better place through regional business growth and positive social change.

The Wynn Fraser team are recognised among the country’s leading paint experts, with an unrivalled depth of knowledge and experience spanning many decades in the industry. A desire for the perfect finish is evident in the exemplary skills and commitment shown by the team every day and for every customer.

The team also pride themselves on delivering forward-thinking and innovative solutions for our customers, to reflect the sophistication of new technologies that are constantly emerging in the paint industry.

As well as delivering future-ready paint solutions, we are also working hard to create a better world for tomorrow through social and community projects, both locally and globally.

When Wynn Fraser owner Allan Gray visited the Baan Doi orphanage in Chiang Rai, Thailand, in 2015, his life changed forever. The orphanage is a small and unassuming operation, supporting the wellbeing and education of local children who have been orphaned with little hope for the future. The orphanage is 100% reliant on the financial support of caring individuals and businesses around the world to keep the children fed, housed, clothed and educated. From this first visit, Allan made a lifelong commitment to support the orphanage and its children.

These children are now direct benefactors of Wynn Fraser’s business success, with a percentage of profits going to the orphanage every year. Allan has also set a longer term goal of committing to full funding for the orphanage, in perpetuity. Closer to home, Wynn Fraser is also incredibly proud to be supporting a diverse range of community projects such as the Northland Electricity Rescue Helicopter, Collaborationz, Cancer Society, CanTeen, Lions, North Haven Hospice, Sport Northland and Youth Zone, to name just a few.

Wynn Fraser's roots are firmly entrenched in Northland.

Our company has been built on the legacy of Northland entrepreneur and identity Wynn Fraser, who established the business back in 1948. Incredibly, Allan Gray hails from the same Scottish village as the Fraser family, and like Wynn, Allan feels very much at home in Northland, through strong connections to the land, to Tangata Whenua and to the strong and successful future he envisages for the region.

“With the support of my incredibly talented team, we are proudly living up to our reputation as the country’s leading paint experts, as we continue to grow a business that is not only helping communities locally and globally, but is living up to our values of Manaakitanga (caring for the wellbeing of others) and Whanaungatanga (close connections between people) in everything we do.”
